Amanda has been in love with movement since she can remember. Active in sports, dance and theatre, she was riddled with joint injuries by high school. After success with practicing meditation as a cure for migraines, she followed the suggestion of a doctor and began the practice of Sun Salutations to manage her joint pain. With her body realigned and pain free, she quickly fell in love with yoga. After years of personal practice, she was inspired to become a yoga teacher. Wanting to create classes for athletes and those with injuries who need alignment focused practice, she completed her Vinyasa certification at Flow Yoga Center in Washington, D.C. in 2009.
