Featuring Guest Artists from CLI Conservatory

This summer, The Studio School of Dance is proud to host NOLA Conservatory Week—an elite, 5-day training experience designed for dedicated dancers ages 8–18 who are ready to take their training to the next level. As a summer dance intensive in New Orleans, this program provides focused instruction in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and more, while offering dancers exposure to professional-level training and opportunities for advancement.
What Makes NOLA Conservatory Week Different
NOLA Conservatory Week is designed as a focused, high-level training experience for dancers who are ready to be challenged and seen. Rather than a traditional summer program, this week is intentionally structured to provide dancers with meaningful instruction, individualized feedback, and exposure to professional-level expectations.

What Training Includes
Each day is structured to provide a well-rounded training experience, balancing technique, movement exploration, and professional development. Dancers will move through a full day of classes designed to challenge them both physically and artistically.
- Ballet technique
- Contemporary and jazz training
- Hip-hop and movement exploration
- Across-the-floor and improvisation
- Pilates and conditioning
- Injury prevention for dancers
- Acting and performance-based workshops
- Career development and industry insight
(A detailed daily schedule will be shared with enrolled dancers once programming is finalized.)
The week will conclude with a small showcase experience, allowing dancers to share their growth.

Opportunities for Dancers
Throughout the week, dancers will be observed by guest faculty and studio leadership. This provides a valuable opportunity for dancers to receive feedback, be recognized for their growth, and be considered for future training opportunities.

Who Should Attend
NOLA Conservatory Week is designed for dancers ages 8–18 who are ready for a more focused and intentional training experience. This program is best suited for dancers who are committed to their growth and are looking to take the next step in their training.

Dancers new to The Studio School of Dance are welcome to submit interest and may be placed based on experience and readiness.
Investment
Due to the limited nature of this program, a deposit is required to secure your dancer’s placement. Full tuition details and payment options will be shared with accepted dancers.
Payment plans will be available to support families throughout the summer.
