Join us at The Studio School of Dance in Metairie for a special Broadway Master Class featuring Macy McKown, a cast member from The Great Gatsby: A New Musical.
On March 28, 2026, dancers ages 9+ (Intermediate/Advanced) will experience Broadway-style training while learning choreography and performance techniques inspired by the dazzling world of Gatsby.
This exciting master class offers dancers a rare opportunity to work with a professional currently performing in a Broadway production while gaining insight into musical theatre performance, storytelling, and stage presence.

Looking for a fun way for your little one to move, explore, and burn energy this winter? Join us for Open Play, a parent-supervised free-play experience designed for toddlers and preschoolers in a safe, welcoming studio environment.
Children will enjoy crawling, climbing, balancing, and moving freely on soft mats and foam equipment while building confidence, coordination, and social skills — all through play!

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, we’re turning The Studio into a Broadway stage for our young stars ages 9+ From 10:00–11:30 AM, dancers will learn original choreography, sharpen their performance skills, and soak up all the stage presence, sass, and sophistication that makes Chicago a showstopper.

Friendship Bracelets Make-A- Thon
BACK TO DANCE BOOT CAMP
We cordially invite all our dancers aged 7 and above to join this wonderful opportunity. If you are a new student at The Studio School of Dance, this boot camp will introduce you to your classmates and instructors and the overall studio experience. If you are a returning student, this boot camp will help you get back into the rhythm of things as well as allow you to see your friends and make new ones. This boot camp will offer Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, and Variation classes.
Dates: Monday, August 12th- Thursday, August 15th

Mardi Gras Mini Camp
Looking for something for your kids to do during the Mardi Gras break? The Studio School of Dance and NOLA Dance Project are offering a Mardi Gras Mini Camp. Each day will be comprised of different activities, and campers will need to bring a bag lunch and drink each day. Camper should wear clothes they can move in and can get dirty. Kids can join us for the day or the week. It’s endless, and they will be EXHAUSTED by pickup. No dance experience is required.
Early drop-off is available should you need them! Parents/legal guardians may begin dropping off campers between 8:15 and 9:15 am. for an additional fee of $15/day. Activities will officially begin at 9:30 a.m. The program will last until 3:30 pm. All participants should be picked up at 3:30 pm
Participants must register to participate. All major credit cards are accepted. Registrations are accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Space is limited.
