The Studio School of Dance is excited to offer virtual classes during this time of uncertainty. Our classes are small allowing our instructors to continue to give students the best training possible. We are currently offer classes in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Creative Movement, Pilates and Art. We have also initiated in partnership with NOLA DANCE PROJECT to provide a Master Class Series that includes exploring movement in different spaces, a choreography workshop, and a dance history. These classes engage students and their families by exploring musicality, inspiring creativity, fostering imagination, and teaching fundamentals.
The classes provided through our virtual platform are for enrolled students only. We know that some schools in our community are not providing virtual classes and we would like to open our platform to their students. In order to access these classes, we ask that all dancers register with The Studio School of Dance. Your dancer’s registration is temporary and will expire once we return to our normal routine but you will have an option to fully enroll.
Below is all the information you need to know!
When do classes take place? Virtual classes are taking place Monday thru Saturday
What time and how long are classes? Classes usually begin in the late morning / early afternoon. Classes are between 45- 60 min.
Is there a registration fee? There is no registration fee but we are asking for a $10 deposit at the time of your registration that goes towards the balance of your first class.
What is the cost of the classes? The Studio is offering the following
- Drop In Rate- $10 per class
- Unlimited Class Packages-
- Ages 2- 5 $60 / month ( can take up to 4 hours of weekly classes)
- Ages 6-10 $165 / month ( can take up to 7 hours of weekly classes)
- Ages 10 -12- $250 / month ( can take up to 12 hours of weekly classes)
- Age 13 and older $380/ month ( can take up to 18 hours of weekly classes)
How do I access the virtual classes? As mentioned before, you must register with The Studio School of Dance. Once your registration is confirmed, we will send you a link to our google calendar that will give you access the links to our classes.
